More Baby Bear

I love this stamp set and I held a class a few weeks ago and these are the cards we made. The baby card isn't for a particular baby, just one to have on hand so I choose to use the colour Mint Macaroon which I think works for a boy or a girl.

The wedding card was inspired by a card that Sara Douglas demonstrated at our last training weekend in Telford and I just fell in love with it and knew I had to recreate it.

Everyone loved the class and I hope you do too.

Swirly Bird

At a recent team meeting with my downline we used the fantastic new Swirly Bird stamp set (page 152 of the new catalogue, item number 141749).  There is also matching dies and a great value bundle, details also on page 152. The girls loved making this little set of three cards and envelopes along with a great little file style storage box to put them in.  It would actually hold more but three was all we had time to make. We also used the fab little flower from the Botanial dies too. The paper pack we used was a lovely new 6 X 6 one called Playful Palette item number 141657.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed these projects.

More Baby Bear

Hi there, sorry I haven't been on here recently (bad blogger) but I have been away and I also forgot to show you the matching gift I made for a friend's new grandson.  I bought the little box frame and then stamped and cut out the Baby Bear image, then I cut out the little boy's name with the little letters (sadly retired now). His Mum was thrilled with it, so that made me very happy, it's lovely to make a gift and then have it well received, don't you think?

Also this week was Stampin' Ups launch of their brand new annual catalogue! I know I always say this but... I really do think this is the best one yet, so if you are not already on my mailing list, please let me know and I will send you a paper copy to look over with I nice cuppa, nice way to spend an hour!  In the meantime you can click on the picture on the right side of this blog and look at the online catalogue.  Happy browsing and please let me know if there is anything you need advice on.

Be back soon with samples from the new catalogue.

Baby Bear

Good morning from Northern Ireland! We have had some unseasonably cold weather recently, due to some Arctic cold air flowing in, well I wish it would flow right out again and please warm up soon!

When I was at Stampin' Up On Stage local at Telford recently I won a prize which was the really sweet Baby Bear stamp set, it is so lovely, perfect for baby cards but we also saw a really nice wedding card made by Sara Douglas which I will be trying out soon.  However first thing I made was a baby card, friends recently became grandparents and this is the card I made to welcome their little grandson.  I also made a matching gift which I will share with you once I give it to the new parents.

This stamp set will be available on the 1st June to all my customers but judging by the reaction of the demonstrators at Telford it will be popular so get your order in early for this set!

I'll be back soon with the matching gift so come back to see that.

On Stage Local

Last weekend I got to spend some time with around 380 UK Stampin' Up demonstrators in Telford, near Birmingham. What a fun weekend we had! We got a great goodie bag and various free gifts including lots of new products. We got an advance copy of the brand new Stampin' Up catalogue which goes live on the 1st June.  It was great seeing all the new products and Stamp sets we will be getting and to watch demonstrations from fellow demonstrators both in the room and by a link to the U.S. It was really great.  It's lovely to see friends and to make new ones too, Stampin Up really know how to put a fantastic weekend together.

Another most enjoyable part of the weekend is when we swap samples with each other, this the one I made this year, I swapped over fifty of these cards and below is a photo of all the lovely ideas I got in return, fab, aren't they!

This last photo is of additional cards I made, this time in a different colour way, these were for my downline and other team members.  I also made little bracelets which I put in these linen bags. I'd stamped on them also to co-ordinate with the card. Yes you can stamp on fabric! They were well received and well worth the effort of making them.

I'll be back soon with my April Thank you cards and gifts,  before April is over!  I've been so busy I had forgotten I didn't share them with you. Please come back for those, I think you'll like them.
Have a great day.

Shades of purple

Good morning, following on from my last post I'm sharing this other card from the same class.  As I said, everyone got the wonderful stamp set Birthday Blooms.  But as you can see this one has a totally different look, a very versatile set this and I really love the font.  I don't normally 'do' purple as it's not really a colour I use but I like how this turned out and I know a friend who would love this card as she loves purple.

I'll be back soon with this months hostess club gifts and my thank you cards. Hope to see you for that.

Shimmer and glitter

Good morning, sorry I haven't been around much recently but I was busy with Easter and then a wee trip to visit my daughter in London. However I am back today to share a sweet card and gift bag we made at a recent class.  I used the single rose image from the very versatile stamp set.  Everyone got the stamp set to make a selection of projects which I will share with you over the next week.  If you don't already own this stamp set you should check it out, it has beautiful rose images, sentiments and other little useful images.

We used the beautiful glitter washi Tape that I know a lot of you got free during Sale-a-Bration and my wish is that we get this in our new annual catalogue (coming very soon!) perhaps in different colours! Would love that!  We also used the fab Wink of Stella clear pen on the roses, hope the shimmer shows up in the photos.

I'll be back soon with more from the same class so please come back and visit to see those.  Have a great day.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to you all! Today I am sharing the last Easter class I held this past Wednesday, everyone got a little chocolate chick as a treat. Isn't the little chick house and card really cute. I used the stamp set Honeycomb Happiness which was free with our fantastic Sale-a-Bration promotion.  This is the last week of these wonderful offers so last chance to get a freebie, just spend £45 and make your choice.  Honeycomb Happiness has been one of the favourites amongst my customers and the metallic washi tape is too. So don't hesitate if you would like to take part,  Sale-a-Bration won't be back until January 2017!!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today during your Easter Weekend, I hope you all have a lovely time with family and friends. I'll be back next week with some beautiful projects using the stamp set Birthday Blooms which is so versatile for lots of different occasions, hope to see you then.

Flowers for Easter

Well, as I promised I'm back with another Easter card not featuring the Easter Lamb! I used one of the lovely flowers from the stamp set Helping me Grow. It really is a fantastic set which includes another flower, various sentiments and little feature accents that just give cards that something special.

My last Easter class is tonight and as a special treat I will be making some Easter cupcakes for everyone.  I'll be back soon to share what we make tonight.

Thanks for stopping by my little blog today.

Happy Spring??

We have had some very "Spring like" days recently in Northern Ireland, dare I say Spring is here? However it probably isn't but I will be happy if these beautiful days last until Easter.

Today I'm sharing an Easter card using the little Easter lamb AGAIN! Sorry, I just love this little lamb, I promise I will use a different stamp set to make an Easter card soon! I designed this card for a class I held last week and the girls loved it. Some decided to use a different sentiment and make the card into a baby card.  Perfect for this, just change the background colour to suit a baby boy or girl.    I used the large stamp called Watercolour Wash, this is a super background stamp and can be used for virtually every type of card background.

Thanks for popping in today, I will be back soon with the other Easter card we made at last week's class and I promise I didn't use the Easter Lamb so please come back soon for that.

                                            Have a great day

Happy Friday

Good morning everyone, don't you just love Fridays, I do. The funny thing is I haven't worked a 9-5, Monday to Friday job for years. Teaching classes and being a Stampin' Up demonstrator means my hours are never the same from one week to the next.  My children have long since left home so there are no school runs to do either but I still love Fridays! 😃

Anyway today I am sharing my March thank you cards and gifts for my hostess club members. I made some more for friends and neighbours gifts too.  I used the little Kraft bags we sell in packs of  ten.  I scored and folded them, 1" down each side one 1" along the bottom to make them into these little gift bags, very easy to do. I am loving the little Easter lamb stamp, I have been using it a lot so will share more Easter cards over the next week with you, I also, used it for a baby card.

What do you think? Everyone was delighted with theirs. Want to know what the gift was? A yummy Easter egg of course!

Thanks for popping by to day, have a great weekend.

Easter Lamb

Just popping in to share another Easter card with you today.  The stamp I used is simply called "Easter Lamb" and is on page 26 of the Stampin' Up spring catalogue. I love everything about it, the cuteness of the lamb and the lovely font of the greeting.  I will be using this for lots of my own Easter projects and classes so I'll be sharing those over the next few weeks.

Thanks for visiting today

Wreaths are not just for Christmas

They are for Spring too! It is only one month today until Good Friday so I think it's time I showed you my first Easter Card. I have used the dies that I used for my Christmas wreath but I have used the lovely Spring stamp set called Circle of Spring (page 77 of main catalogue) this really is the set to buy for all your spring projects (especially if you bought the die set for your Christmas projects) as it covers most occasions. You get the wreath, the little flower and bow and six sentiments. I used the large background stamp Hardwood as my back drop and added a bit of bling with the bow which I die cut from the lovely new Blushing Bride paper.

So for all occasions whether it's Easter, Mothers Day, a spring Birthday or a simple Thank you this set has got it all.  Here's hoping we soon get the Spring weather to match all the lovely Spring projects we are going to make!

A Rose for Valentine's Day

Good morning, just popping in for a quick post to day to wish you all a lovely Valentine's weekend, I know some of you are celebration tonight so I hope you have fun!

Thought I would share this rose I made recently using the Bouquet Bigz Die (page 175 of main catalogue) this is a must have die if you like making flowers.  This makes so many flower and leaf variations (not just roses) and because it's a bigz die it can cut fabric easily too.  Think of flower brooches or adorn bags and cushions with flowers and leaves!! Just put "Stampin' Up Bouquet die" into a search engine and you will be amazed at the ideas that come up!

So here's a Valentine rose for all my lovely customers and viewers-

Birthday Blooms

Good morning, are you ready to start your new week? I am! I'm planning on setting aside some time to make a start on Easter, I only realised recently how early it falls this year (25th March) I am going to organise some dates for classes so I need to get the creative ideas flowing!

In the meantime I'm sharing a square card I made using the fabulous set Birthday Blooms, so versatile with this lovely big rose, a small single bloom and three sentiments (the fonts are beautiful), a row of hearts and two small detail images. This would be a great set for many occasions, birthday, thank you, wedding and even sympathy, for a crafter starting out I would recommend this set.

I've used the colours watermelon wonder, crumb cake and a little pear pizzazz on the leaves. I'm loving the beautiful new watermelon wonder ribbon, it so luxurious. It would be wonderful wrapped around a special present to match the card.

I've included a photo of the set as I wanted to let you see how wonderful it is, just look at the detail of the flowers and those fonts!

Hope I've inspired you to set aside a little time for yourself this week to get creative!

Honeycomb anyone?

Stampin' Up have produced a beautiful new Spring/Summer catalogue full to bursting with all sorts of lovely! I fell in love with the little honeycomb embellishments, basically they are little balls you open like old fashioned Christmas decorations.  They can be used as ice cream toppers, like I did in this card, or for balloons, tops of party hats, the possibilities are endless.  This is a sweet little card I made recently that I thought you would like to see.  Then below that is Stampin' Ups own take on various ways of using these cute embellishments. They come in packs of 12 for only £4.50 and colours include Mint Macaron, blushing bride pink and white.  The white can be coloured any colour you wish using our reinkers and a spray bottle.  Check out page 9 of the catalogue order no 140566.

That's for looking in today, hope to see you back here soon.

Rose Garden

Happy Monday, today I am sharing my January thank you cards with you. Every month anyone who has placed an order with me gets a handmade thank you card from me. I really like to show my customers how grateful I am that they choose me as their Stampin' Up demonstrator.

As a special this month, to celebrate Sale-a-Bration I also give any customer who ordered over £45 worth of products a little gift pack from me featuring beautiful new embellishments.  So for £45 my lovely customers got a gift of their choice from Stampin' Up, a gift pack from me and a thank you card! Everyone has received theirs now so I hope they were all happy crafters.

It has been pretty mild here in Northern Ireland, nothing like the poor people enduring the awful snow storm on the East coast of American.  It has been such a mild wet winter that my spring bulbs are already well up out of the ground getting ready to flower and it's still only January!

Thanks for stopping by today, please visit again soon.
