Little Baby Bumblebee

I loved this new stamp of the little bumblebee so decided to use it for a card I made for friends who recently became grandparents. You can find it on page 39 of the new Spring catalogue along with lots of other great ideas for baby cards and gifts.  The lovely hello honey coloured quilted ribbon is beautiful too and reminded me of a soft baby blanket so perfect for this card.

I'm teaching a class tomorrow so I'll be back soon to share the lovely projects we will be making then.  We have some snow here
in Northern Ireland at the moment so I hope it doesn't effect travel too much as I want my ladies to make it here to the class! Keep safe if you're out driving in the ice and snow.

Butterflies and Something Borrowed Designer Paper

I've already showed you the swap I made for last Sunday's get together and the ones I received in return so I'm sharing a card we made.  We used the beautiful Butterflies Thinlits Dies and the Something Borrowed Dsp, these papers would be great for anything to do with weddings or anniversaries but we used it on this birthday card, so very versatile! I loved this card, thank you Clare for the design and the lovely day.

If this has inspired you to get crafting with our great products you can have a look at Stampin' Ups full range by clicking on the catalogues on the right side of this blog or go straight to my shop by clicking the button, top right, order on-line. Don't hesiate to contact me if you need any advice.

Bokeh effect

Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely weekend. I spent my Sunday with a group of other Stampin' Up demostrators and what a great bunch of girls! As we always do, we did a card swap and this was mine.  I decided to make my own background by trying out the Bokeh effect that everyone is doing at the moment and I was fairly happy with my first attempt.  I used a stamp set I have just bought called Hello Life, it is really meant to be used in conjunction with project life but it's very versatile and worked well for the 'string' of the balloon. Check it out on page 6 of the Spring catalogue. I also intend to use it to stamp along photographs and to make the poloraid style shown on the same page.

I'll be back soon with a photo of the swaps I received as soon as it's bright enough to take a photo!

It's cold here in Northern Ireland but what a great excuse, on a weekend, to stay in and get your craft goodies out!

Hostess Club thank you

Sorry I haven't been around for a week but I've had a really bad cold and I'm afraid when I'm struggling to do normal things, while sick, my poor blog is the first thing to go!

Anyway I'm here now and feeling a bit better and sharing with you the thank you card and gift I give to my hostess club members this January. I made the little box using the lovely new FREE card from Stampin' Up, you can see it on page 15 of the Sale-a-Bration leaflet and it's called Irresistability Yours. The lovely Lotus Blossom stamp I used on the card is also one of the free items you can choose during Sale-a-Bration which runs until the end of March. For every £45 you spend you can choose any item from the leaflet.

Wondering what the gift inside the box was? It is a little handbag size hand sanitising spray, very useful at this time of year with all the coughs and colds around! Hope to be back again soon! In the meantime, keep warm.

Painted Blooms

Hello there, we are having very stormy and rainy weather here in Northern Ireland but not to mind, it's a good excuse to stay indoors and craft! I am having great fun playing with all my lovely new products from the Spring catalogue and thinking ahead to spring time. I made this little card using a beautiful paper out of the Painted Blooms pack, so many lovely painted flower images in this pack. Have a look at it on page 19 of the catalogue, really pretty.
The Lotus flower is from a free stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration leaflet, for every £45 spend you get to choose any free gift from this leaflet.

Hope you all have a nice cosy crafty weekend!
