Lovely Lemons!

Good morning, I'm sharing a lovely card today using the free stamp set from Stampin' Up called A Happy Thing and this is free during Sale-a-Bration. A wide choice of gifts are available with every £45 spend including four new items which are available from the 1st March!  I used a technique called masking to make this card and just incase you are not familiar with this I have posted a Stampin' Up video below to help you.

Hope this little card brightens your day, it's very sun shiny, isn't it! We can look ahead to Spring/Summer because there's not much of that here in Northern Ireland at the moment, it's bitterly cold but as I'm looking after a friend's dog I will be bundling up this morning to go out with her for a walk and face the cold winds!
Hope to see you again soon.

Two different cards one design

Hello there, I've been busy working on some things that I can't share yet but in the meantime here are two cards I made last week for friends who were celebrating very different things. I was short on time so I came up with a design that worked with both.

Sorry just a quick visit today but I'll be back soon with some new
projects I'm currently making.

Project Life Scrapbooking

My daughter got married last year and I have been working on a scrapbook of the big day. Today I am sharing a few pages with you.  I'm using Stampin' Up's Project Life - love story kit, it is so quick to do, all you need are your photographs and some glue! I've also posted a Stampin' Up video showing you what a kit of project life looks like and how you can use it.  If you have never heard of Project Life style scrapbooking this is a good video to explain it.  It's not the Love Story one but you'll get the idea.

Thanks for looking

Thank you little bumblebee

I thought I would show you that the Little Baby Bumblebee stamp is not just for baby cards. I used it for my February thank yous to my hostess club members. Every month my club members get a thank you card made by me and a little gift and when I saw these little jars of honey I instantly thought of this stamp and knew what I was going to do with it!

Really cute, aren't they! Think everyone was pleased with them. Thanks for looking in today, see you again soon.

Valentine weekend

Sorry I wasn't around much last week but I was busy making things for my churches Valentine coffee morning on Saturday. With the help of my friend Janice we made hearts to hang on the heart tree, we made around 70 favours for the first people to arrive, we decorated various things like the teddy for the ballot table and lots more and I'm happy to say it was a great success! So I'm sharing a few photos of some of the things we made in my home then the display in the church hall.

I'll be back tomorrow with some Stampin' Up loveliness with my February Thank Yous. Hope to see you back soon for that post.

Stampin' Ups Berry Basket Die

Good morning, hope you all had a nice weekend, I did and I manage to get time in my happy place - my Craft Room! I made a few little berry baskets using my lovely new die.  The first one I'm sharing is actually covered in fabric and trimmed with the Rose Red lace from the Artisan Kit.  It's very sturdy as I used light card and stuck the fabric on first and left it to dry, then I ran it through the Big Shot.  Because it's a Bigz Die it cuts through very thick layers with ease.  I've posted Stampin' Up's video below so you can see how easy it is to use.

What do you think, do you like it? I have made others out of card
and I will show you those soon. In the meantime if you would like to order the Berry Die, it's on page 21 of the Spring catalougue, just contact me directly or click on my order now button to go directly to my on-line shop.

Sweet Baby Boy

I had meant to post this card yesterday but the day just got away from me, sorry. Anyhow here it is now, I made it a couple of weeks ago for my hairdresser who just that a lovely little baby boy. She brought him into meet everyone and I got to have a little cuddle with him, so cute! She liked the card and the baby blanket I bought for him.

The weather for the weekend here in Northern Ireland seems to be nice, cold but bright. Last weekend we had gales which was horrible and makes me want to stay indoors but I think a nice walk today is in order.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend wherever you are and whatever you do. Join me again next week for more inspiration.

More fun with the Artisan Embellishment kit

This is the final project from last week's class. The lovely rose red lace was in the artisan kit as was the little rose mask, you get two in the kit, we used the other one as a stencil, see the tag below. It is a great wee kit, it looks small when it arrives but it's full of fun embellishments, have a look at it on page 27, it's only £8.95.  We used something out of the kit on each project and still had loads left over.

Hasn't this week gone really fast, can't believe it's Thursday already! I'll be back tomorrow with a baby card I made a few weeks ago and forgot to share with you. Hope to see you then.

Something Lacy

Another project this morning from last Friday's class. We used the beautiful Something Lacy background stamp (page 43 of the spring catalogue) which we stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white to give a lovely raised effect.  The Rose trim was from the Artisan Kit which set off the lace beautifully and we had lots of the trim left over, it goes a long way as you can cut of as many as you need, even a single one on a tag looks good.

One more project from the class to show you so come back for that.

Stampin' Up Gift Box Punch Board

Good morning from a very cold Northern Ireland, one of the things I love about my Stampin' Up job is that I can work from home on days like this!  Here's another share from last Friday's class - the lovely 4" square box made using the fantastic Gift Box Punch Board, just add a little tag and some cute coral pompom trim and you're done! I've post a video below of the Punch Board in action so you can see how easy it is to use.

Come back tomorrow for more from Friday's class. I'm off to my warm craft room to work on my February thank yous for my customers. Keep warm.

Stampin' Ups artisan embellishment kit

Last Friday I held a class for a group of lovely girls, everyone got the Artisan kit (page 17 of the spring catalogue) and the large lovely lace stamp. Over the next couple of days I will share the projects we made.  The first one is this unusual fold over card, the oval on the front tucks into the beautiful silver button on the front, it comes in the kit and makes this card very special. I think this would make a really nice invitation and you could even put a photo on the inside.

Happy Monday friends and I hope you have a good week.
