Flower topped gift box

Happy Friday friends, I have made this shape of origami box for years in various sizes and when I saw the lovely free papers, sweet sorbet, I just had to use the paper which is predominately pistachio pudding and made the roses for the top with the new spiral flower die.

Little gift bags

Good morning, thought I would post a photo of two little gift bags I accessorised using some free Sale-A-Bration products. The little bags are in the main catalogue and come in a pack of 10 for only £3.75 (13137) I folded one of them to create a bottom to sit on and this would hold anything from chocolates to jewellery. The other one I left flat and put a selection of notecards and envelopes in it, this would also hold a scented sachet from one of those candle shops. Maybe this would make a nice alternative to taking flowers as a gift to a friends house.  What do you think?

I thought you would like to see this little fold over box I made, it's big enough for a small chocolate bar and it would be nice made in valentine colours as a little gift for the other half.  I popped the buttons up on a dimensional pad which let's you use white bakers twine wound round them as a closure.

Cards in a flash

It's nice to take time to be creative and design our own cards but sometimes we just need a selection of cards in a hurry. Stampin' up have a lovely card kit coming up in the new spring mini catalogue called Happenings kit 133329. I made some thank you cards in a flash and then decided to make my own using one of the designs in the kit as inspiration. The background paper is also new and is called Watercolour Wonder 132994 and will be available soon too.

January Blues?

Hi everyone, how's your January going? Some people get a bit down after the happiness of Christmas followed by the dull days of January. For me I find that January whizzes past, especially this one as I'm looking forward to Stampin' Ups new spring mini catalogue and Sale-A-Bration.(not long now they both are available on the 28th of this month)  As a demonstrator I get to pre-order lots of lovely things so I can prepare samples to show my customers. So for the past couple of weeks I have been working away with these and having great fun. Below is a sample of a little box made using the new Scalloped tag topper punch 133324 and some of the free papers from Sale-A-Bration, sweet sorbet.  I saw this little box being demonstrated back in November at convention and loved it. (Sorry I can't remember the name of the person to give credit) but she had hosted a booth showing lots of ideas using this new punch and everything was beautiful.

I'm off this weekend to London to go dress shopping with my lovely daughter, not just any old dress shopping, no, we are shopping for her wedding dress! How excited am I!!  I am also taking with me some sample wedding invitations I have made to show her and hopefully we can narrow down exactly what she wants so I can start making everything.

Monster Hug

Good morning and a happy weekend to you! Thought I would drop by and show you a card I made for my son's birthday.  I used the little Monster Hugs which come in a pack of 18 and you can get boy and girl monsters. Item number 132162 and cost only £5.50 (available until the 27th January)

Here they are as they are intended to be used but I think they look 

great on the front of a card too.

 

By the way, incase you think I have a two year old, my son is 29 

but I thought it was a funny card to give him and he did laugh when he opened it! Thanks for visiting today...

Using new items from Sale-A-Bration

Good morning, just giving you a little sneak peek of a card I made using papers and a stamp set from the new Sale-A-Bration selection which starts on the 28th of this month. For every £45 you spend you get to choose an item from a really great selection of products.

Some months back I attended training in Telford and I received a lovely card swap from none other than - Michelle Last, this card was inspired by this.

Short and sweet today but I'll be back soon. We are lucky here in Northern Ireland today, weather is calm and quite bright.  Hope things improve where you are, whether it's floods or ice you are trying to cope with I wish you well.

Valentine Collage Card

Hello, I'm back, did you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year?Mine was very nice, just restful and filled with family and friends, which is the type of Christmas I enjoy the most.  I'm not big on parties and large gatherings anymore, getting too old! Ha Ha

However it was nice to get all the decorations down and get the house cleaned and back to normal and most importantly, for me, get back into my little craft room.  After a break I never know where to start so I just play around for awhile and see what happens. I had received this stamp set (Follow My Heart - clear 134614 and wood 134611) while at convention, back in November, so decided to use that.  This collage type of card is what I came up with, hope you like it.

You may have noticed a couple of new products on this card ;-)

like the gold washi tape and gold sequins, gold is going to be very big in the crafting world as well as mixing metals like gold and silver on the same cards. There are lots of exciting things coming up with Stampin Up, it kicks off with Sale-A-Bration on the 28th January (for every £45 order you place you get to choose from a selection of Sale-A-Bration gifts.) I will be showing lots of samples using these free products.  The new spring mini catalogue launches on the 28th January too and as a demonstrator I get to order my products early so I can make samples to show you all. So as soon as those products arrive I will get crafting and post samples of those too! Phew! I'm going to be busy, but I love it!
