Happy Monday Bunny

Hello there, hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was quite busy, starting of with a great class on Friday with my regular ladies who are always great to spend time with and I will share the projects from that class very soon. Then Saturday morning I went along to a young Mums group in the church, it was nice to craft with these lovely girls while their children did their own crafts in another part of the room, we only had time to make an Easter card but it was fun and I think they all enjoyed it.

Today's share is this months hostess club thank you cards and gifts, I used the very versatile stamp set Sheltering Tree (137163)  from the mini catalogue to make the card and the little "house" for the chocolate bunny was made using the tag topper punch.

Please pop back soon to see the projects from Friday's class.

Easter Bunnies

Hello there, I made these Easter bunnies using lots of various Stampin' Up papers in different subtle shades, I found some large pom-poms in a local craft shop which I used for the cute bunny tails. I strung them on some white bakers twine and hung them along the wall in my hallway. Hope you like them as much as I do!

I'll be back soon with the March thank you cards and gifts for my hostess clubs so please join me again to see those.

Lacey Mother's Day card

Hello there, it was Mother's Day here in he UK yesterday and mine was particularly special as my daughter arrived on Friday for a surprise visit from London, I haven't been able to spend the day with her for five years, it was just wonderful to have my son and daughter here with me! Hope all you mothers in the UK enjoyed their day too, I am sharing the card I made for my lovely Mother-in-Law, she really liked it. I decided to go for a neutral colour scheme but brightened it up with gold glimmer card and gold embossing powder which I think worked well.

Please join me again soon for more inspiration.

Framed Spring Tulips

Well here in Northern Ireland we are back to spring today! It really has been a mixed week of winter days and beautiful Spring days and I am happy to be starting my weekend with a Spring one...

I promised you a follow up to the little card I showed you recently, I framed this one because I thought it was so nice and I loved the inspirational quote. This is the sentiment that comes with the tulips but you can cut it off, as I did, so you can add any sentiment you like to suit whatever occasion you choose.

It's Mothering Sunday here in the UK this weekend so I hope to be having a relaxing day and perhaps getting a little spoiled ;-)
I'll be back next week to show you the card I made for my mother-in-law. Have a lovely weekend however you are spending it.

Spring is nearly here!

I was feeling very spring like yesterday. I went for a walk in beautiful spring weather here in Northern Ireland but unfortunately when I woke up today it's raining! However to keep that spring feeling I'm sharing a very spring like card this morning, lovely tulips! This is a wood mount stamp from Stampin' Up and it is called "Love is kindness" ( 137131) and only costs £7.95 if you would like to own it. It comes attached to a different sentiment but I cut it off so I could add any sentiment I wanted, you could have Happy Easter as I think it lends itself very well to most occasions.  I have make another project using the quote it came with and I will photograph that today and let you see that very soon.

Do you like it? I think it's very simple but pretty, I'll be back soon with the other project so please come back to see that.

Perpetual Birthday Calendar

Good morning, I've been working on my perpetual birthday calendar this week. It's a lovely kit from Stampin' Up which comes in a gift box, so would make a great gift too. I'm sharing a photo of my messy desk when I was making it, fellow crafters know what it's like, you get so involved in making something, your desk gets fuller and fuller until you're working in about one foot square!

I've posted Stampin' Up's video below so you can get a clearer idea
of everything you get in the kit, lots and lots! All you need to complete the calendar is a stamp set which has the months and various other lovely things in it, like hearts & flowers. The kit costs only £14.50 and if you would like to purchase the kit you can come to a class to complete it using my stamp set and inks.  Alternatively you can get a few friends together and I will come to you bringing the kits and everything else you need to complete it. Just contact me if you're interested. I'll be back soon with another kit idea so please join me again for that.
