Fluffy clouds and beautiful balloons

Hello there, ready for the start of your new week?  I am, I've managed to get over a nasty cold I've had for over a week so I'm feeling great and raring to go!

I held a class on Friday for some of my long standing class members, it can sometimes be tricky coming up with new ideas for them as alot of them have been coming to my classes for around five years and are very experienced crafters but I'm happy to say they all loved the makes and I'll share them all with you over the next week.

We made the fluffy clouds by using a scalloped circle and a sponge dauber to ink around using a sky blue ink pad. We used the fabulous balloon die set which includes the little bow, streamer and bunting. Pretty, isn't it and I think it would cover most occasions. Have a look at the Balloon dies and matching Celebrate Today stamp set which is available separately or as a bundle.  They are on page 11 of the mini catalogue.

Vintage and Handmade Fair

Last weekend I had a stall at this wonderful fair at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel near Bangor Northern Ireland, it was a really busy fair with over fifty stalls.  It was hardwork getting ready for it but it was so worthwhile as a got meet lots of new people interested in crafting and finding out more about Stampin' Up. I had a make and take table were everyone got to make a card, this was popular and it was lovely to see people who had never made a card before learn how easy it is to do this and take home a lovely card they had personally made.

This is a photo of me behind my table, my friend Kerry took this, thank you for that Kerry as the ones I took came out a bit blurry.

I'll be back soon with some ideas for you from a class I held yesterday which I think you will like. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

April thank you with Simply Created Gift Boxes

For my hostess club members this month I used the little gift box set from Stampin' Up (main catalogue page 198) and popped a small bar of yummy chocolate inside. For the card I used the vellum which was free with SAB and coloured the back of it using my Stampin write markers and added the sentiment "Hooray for You" which is perfect because I really do appreciate my regular customers!

Thank you for popping in today and I hope you have a nice
weekend. I have a busy one with The Vintage and Handmade Fair (see previous post) which I have a stall at, so hoping it's going to be a good one for me.

Vintage and Handmade Fair

Hello everyone, hope you all had a good Easter and got some time out to relax.  We had fantastic weather here in Northern Ireland so we got out for long walks and lots of gardening and even had the first BBQ of the year!

I am very busy now getting things ready for a craft fair I have a stall at next Sunday, I will share some things I am making for it on here soon.  If you live locally I would love you to stop by and say hello, we also have a great prize draw for you to enter and win lots of Stampin' Up goodies, hope to see you there.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a great weekend.

Happy Easter

Good morning, sorry I haven't been around much recently but we were away on a little break and are just back.

Last night I held the first class for new people, it was small as a couple of people were sick but it was still good fun. I run some quite established classes, some of the girls have been coming to me for about five years so last night was nice to start over and remember what it felt like to discover new things like using the Big Shot, I'd forgotten what that was like! Next class I am going to introduce them to embossing using the Big Shot and also heat embossing, looking forward to it already.

This is a photo of the two projects, the little Easter easel card was fun to make and the Easter berry basket was a big hit.

Hope you all have a great Easter break whatever you are doing, perhaps the weather will be kind to us all so we can get outside and enjoy Springtime.

Thanks for stopping by

Happy Monday Bunny

Hello there, hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was quite busy, starting of with a great class on Friday with my regular ladies who are always great to spend time with and I will share the projects from that class very soon. Then Saturday morning I went along to a young Mums group in the church, it was nice to craft with these lovely girls while their children did their own crafts in another part of the room, we only had time to make an Easter card but it was fun and I think they all enjoyed it.

Today's share is this months hostess club thank you cards and gifts, I used the very versatile stamp set Sheltering Tree (137163)  from the mini catalogue to make the card and the little "house" for the chocolate bunny was made using the tag topper punch.

Please pop back soon to see the projects from Friday's class.

Easter Bunnies

Hello there, I made these Easter bunnies using lots of various Stampin' Up papers in different subtle shades, I found some large pom-poms in a local craft shop which I used for the cute bunny tails. I strung them on some white bakers twine and hung them along the wall in my hallway. Hope you like them as much as I do!

I'll be back soon with the March thank you cards and gifts for my hostess clubs so please join me again to see those.

Lacey Mother's Day card

Hello there, it was Mother's Day here in he UK yesterday and mine was particularly special as my daughter arrived on Friday for a surprise visit from London, I haven't been able to spend the day with her for five years, it was just wonderful to have my son and daughter here with me! Hope all you mothers in the UK enjoyed their day too, I am sharing the card I made for my lovely Mother-in-Law, she really liked it. I decided to go for a neutral colour scheme but brightened it up with gold glimmer card and gold embossing powder which I think worked well.

Please join me again soon for more inspiration.

Framed Spring Tulips

Well here in Northern Ireland we are back to spring today! It really has been a mixed week of winter days and beautiful Spring days and I am happy to be starting my weekend with a Spring one...

I promised you a follow up to the little card I showed you recently, I framed this one because I thought it was so nice and I loved the inspirational quote. This is the sentiment that comes with the tulips but you can cut it off, as I did, so you can add any sentiment you like to suit whatever occasion you choose.

It's Mothering Sunday here in the UK this weekend so I hope to be having a relaxing day and perhaps getting a little spoiled ;-)
I'll be back next week to show you the card I made for my mother-in-law. Have a lovely weekend however you are spending it.
